Our client, Millard Maritime, is in search of the perfect candidate.

The Director of Sales position is responsible for creating a business development pipeline
strategy that identifies, qualifies, and develops win themes, strategies, and value propositions for the pursuit of opportunities. This position will report to the President and work directly with other managers and operations in the company on various issues such as marketing, sales, and operational compliance with customer needs and, therefore, must be adaptable to changing priorities and responsibilities. Develops, coordinates, and implements plans and strategies designed to identify and capture new opportunities and retain existing business.

In the performance of their respective tasks and duties, all employees are expected to conform to the following:

- Interact professionally with other employees, customers, and suppliers.

- Work effectively as a team contributor on all assignments.

- Support the efforts of management in meeting profit and growth objectives as established in the strategic business plan.

Summary of essential job functions

This job includes the following duties and any other as assigned by current manager:

- Responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts and for managing the
relationships with key accounts and maximizing all opportunities through those accounts.

- Works with senior management, operations, and logistics teams to recommend sales and
marketing strategies and programs that will help achieve targeted growth, profit and
market share relative to corporate goals.

- Collaborating with Business Development counterparts and Operations team members in
engaging customers relating to key opportunities.

- Meeting and exceeding revenue targets and other key objectives through creation of an
opportunity pipeline.

- Proposal development and presentation in addition to negotiation of contract terms and
