SUMMARY
The Sales Manager will take every opportunity to share their passion for The Tiny Tassel brand. They must be able to engage with customers, be proactive, constantly communicate, think on their feet, and actively listen to others, especially when on the sales floor. Driving revenue, building a team, and communicating with sales staff and management are vital to the success of this position.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and lead sales team
- Cover sales floor needs as needed
- Manage customer service needs on the sales floor
- Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively
- Foster a community of individuals who cultivate the store brand
- Train new team members on store and brand expectations
- Motivate team
- Plan, manage, and execute instore visuals
- Maintain accurate inventory
- Stay knowledgeable about current and future products and brands
- Communicate in-store needs: supplies, stock, etc
- Be proactive about setting and achieving goals while working efficiently
- Be energized, receptive to change, think on your feet, and communicate effectively
- Welcome and connect with customers authentically and represent The Tiny Tassel
- Have self-awareness and pick up on subtle cues to adjust your selling and conversation approach and engagement
- Actively listen, understand data, look beyond the obvious, and ask questions
- Have a complimentary fashion aesthetic and be knowledgeable of what is happening in fashion and the community
- Attend all staff meetings
