Our client, Stefanie Wolf Designs, is searching for a Marketing Manager. Stefanie Wolf Designs is a woman-owned jewelry design and retail brand based on the island of Martha's Vineyard. They have been in business for 20 years and have grown from a pop-up tent at a street fair to a multifaceted product company with growing brand recognition. Their signature jewelry products are designed and made in the USA with a focus on local production. You can find their jewelry designs at 70 boutiques and galleries nationwide. The most recent addition to the brand is an island-based flagship retail store on Circuit Avenue in Oak Bluffs, MA on the island of Martha's Vineyard. This location showcases their work as well as the creations of other local artists.


SUMMARY

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for a mix of strategic and tactical marketing. The ideal candidate will own all aspects of the marketing projects and initiatives of the organization. Email marketing is key to the success in this role. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee and develop the marketing strategy and recommend the tactics that will best deliver the desired KPIs. This includes, but is not limited to eCommerce, in-store retail, and wholesale channels.
  • Present a high-level quarterly calendar and monthly detailed calendar that supports marketing priorities. This includes all launches, rollouts, promotions, in-store, online, email, and social media.
  • Responsible for specific KPIs (channel growth, increased traffic, engagements, etc.).
  • Grow the existing email list and oversee multiple email flows.
  • Segment lists and devise targeted campaigns based on potential revenue opportunities, upcoming product rollouts, company goals, and industry best practices.
  • Prioritize additional marketing programs including but not limited to: a customer loyalty program, subscription program, and product bundling functionality, as well as weekly, monthly, and quarterly product launches and promotions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strategic thinker AND can implement tactical plans. You can work as a partner, listen, strategize and implement.
  • Marketing professional with at least 2 years of product marketing experience, both online and in person. You have a working knowledge of Shopify and Klaviyo, and a high level of comfort with integrations, apps, and add ons to these platforms.
  • Take strategic direction and collaborate with team members to create and implement a multichannel marketing calendar for a growing retail business.
  • Able to manage an integrated marketing strategy that incorporates eCommerce, brick and mortar retail, and wholesale.
  • Self-starter and can manage multiple projects while effectively utilizing your time to achieve your goals. You are a good communicator, both verbal and written, and not afraid to ask for what you need in order to reach your goals.
  • Thrive in a startup environment and have a can-do attitude.
  • Collaborative team player, integrating with several team members daily.
  • Able to quickly pivot when necessary.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Highly organized and manage your time effectively.

Please note: While we would prefer someone who can join us on Martha's Vineyard daily, we are open to having the right candidate work remotely for the majority of the week, but able to commute to the island at least once a week.
