Seeking Experienced Project Manager/Designer High-level luxury design firm seeking an experienced full-time Project Manager/Designer for Team collaboration in all areas of residential and commercial projects.
The position is based out of Charleston, South Carolina. Out-of-state applications are accepted, but the candidate must be willing to relocate to Charleston. There is no remote component to this position. No walk-ins or phone calls, please.
Professional Qualifications:
-Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a design firm
-Bachelor's Degree in Design -Proficient in AutoCAD, Keynote, Photoshop, and all phases of Project Management
-Proven professional track record of achieving results in a fast-paced, high-energy, and dynamic environment
-Experienced knowledge of construction sites and building documents
-Excellent in all forms of communication and organization skills
-Strong aptitude for collaborative teamwork and proficiency in task delegation and follow up
-Extensive knowledge of design styles/eras, vendors, and all product components
-Capable of performing all tasks related to full project installations
-Willingness to travel and perform out-of-studio duties
-Possess a strong career ambition to grow professionally
-A minimum of 3 references and an experienced portfolio are required
Job Responsibilities and Specific Skill Requirements:
-Commitment to Team collaboration while learning, executing, and upholding the Cortney Bishop Design aesthetic
-Provide comprehensive design team support and administration throughout all project phases, ensuring successful execution
-Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance to all project parties (clients, architects, contractors, etc.), management of all schedules, vendors coordination, material sourcing, site visits, and design meetings documentation, management of all components of product procurement, inventory maintenance, and project installations.
-Create client presentations, AutoCad drawings, lighting plans, furniture plans, elevations, budget spreadsheets, client invoicing, and maintain presentation boards and samples.
-Manage tasks and responsibilities across multiple projects while being flexible and adaptive in handling shifting priorities.
-Proactive and forward-thinking, anticipating project needs and working ahead of deadlines. -Approach complex challenges with a strategic, tactical, and creative mindset. -Exhibit strong intuition, good judgment, confident decision making and the capacity to perceive and understand the dynamics of a given environment effectively
