Summary
The Social Media Coordinator is responsible for daily (multiple times per day) social media posting. The ideal candidate has knowledge of several brands currently carried and can work with stylists and other departments to coordinate different looks. They must be customer service focused and have a passion for fashion.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Plan ahead and keep track of deadlines
- Must have a general fashion sense and knowledge of brands and products in store
- Comfortable on camera for occasional stories and other social media
- Respond to every DM, tagged post, and comment to give the customer the best experience in and out of the store
- Must be able to work with the eCommerce and Creative Departments while often taking initiative without being directed
- Post sporadically as things can change quickly, able to adapt to the changing needs
- Work with Stylists and Personal Shoppers to capture fashion looks
Requirements
- Mac OS
- Office
- Google Sheets, Docs, Drive
- Dropbox
- Box
- Must have two years' experience in social media
- Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Photoshop, preferred
- Experience in Canva
- Time management
- Customer Service
- Attention to Detail
- Ability to work with vendors and meet with them virtually and in person to coordinate
- Excellent written communication, education or background in communications, creative writing, or English preferred
