Our client is searching for a Sales Representative/ Account Manager to bring in new business and manage accounts for a logistics company.


As a Sales Representative/ Account Manager, you will be responsible for promoting and selling transportation services in accordance with established sales policies and procedures, and in pursuit of the Company's goals and objectives. Establish and maintain relationships with customers and value service, an entrepreneurial spirit, and possess excellent interpersonal skills.


  • Using Outside and Inside sales knowledge to become an entrepreneur for your book of business
  • Developing and maintaining new business for the Company
  • Calling customers daily and following up on potential business
  • Communicating with Operations to track loads
  • Quoting customers and providing up-to-date information
  • Participating in the growth of the new business
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with customers
  • Collaborating with coworkers in a team-oriented environment


Must be able to work at a computer for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand, walk, and move for extended periods of time. Must be able to have reliable transportation to travel and conduct work.


  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
  • Prior experience in outside sales, preferably in logistics services but not required
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
  • Competitive nature with a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Possess organizational skills in a detail-oriented setting
  • Team player with the ability to multi-task in a results-driven environment
  • MS Office skills and related computer knowledge
